3M Polyester Film Electrical Tape 57 is a 2 mil polyester film tape with rubber thermosetting adhesive. 3M Polyester Film Electrical Tape 57 is specified for insulating applications requiring a thin, durable tape with high dielectric strength, such as for wrapping coils and capacitors and holding applications. Rated for use up to 130°C (266°F), it withstands higher temperature conditions than tapes with acetate film backing.
