Installation
3M  2151 Electrical Tape should be applied in successive half-lapped, level-wound layers until desired build-up is reached. To eliminate voids in critical areas, highly elongate the tape. Stretch the tape in these critical areas just short of its breaking point. Doing so will not alter its physical or electrical properties. In less critical areas, less elongation may be used. Normally, 2151 Tape is stretched to ¾ of its original width in these less critical areas. Always attempt to half-lap to produce a uniform build-up. When using 2151 Tape for splicing cables from 35kV to 69kV, always elongate the tape throughout the entire splice.

130C is a highly conformable, linerless Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPR), high-voltage insulating tape that provides excellent thermal dissipation of splice heat. Scotch 130C meets industry specifications and has excellent physical and electrical properties, which helps provide immediate moisture seal and void-free buildups. Scotch 130C is rated up to 194°F (90°C) continuous operating temperatures and short term 266°F (130°C) overload service.

This 30 mil semi-conductive, linerless Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPR) tape is highly conformable and is compatible with cable semi-conducting jackets. The soft, black rubber tape is a 0.762mm thick, highly conformable, semi-conducting EPR (Ethylene Propylene Rubber) based high-voltage splicing tape. It is non-vulcanising and shelf stable, with stable conductivity over a wide temperature range. Its conductivity is not affected, except by low-viscosity oils. The conductivity of cable semi-conducting jackets is not affected by 13 Tape.

Scotch 23絕緣膠帶在使用時應連續半重疊繞包,直到達到所需厚度,使用時,將Scotch 23膠帶拉長後使用。 在關鍵部位,將膠帶一直拉長到瀕臨裂點,這樣做不會改變其物理或電性能,在不是很關鍵的部位,則不需拉那麼長。 在不很關鍵的部位,通常是將Scotch 23膠帶拉伸至其原始寬度的3/4。時刻牢記要半搭接,以使膠帶均勻纏繞。在35k伏-69k伏的電纜上使用23膠帶時,在整個繞包過程中都要拉長膠帶。

This is a high-temperature, arc-and track-resistant tape composed of self-fusing, inorganic silicone rubber with an easy-tear and easy-strip liner. Packed 1 per box, 10 per carton with 50 per case. As an over-wrap for protection of terminating high-voltage cables against arcing and tracking.

• Excellent track resistance & arc resistance & ozone resistance / High dielectric strength / Class “H” material (180°C / 356°F continuous operation) / Workable at extremely low temperatures / Excellent conformability / Excellent instantaneous fusion / thickness of 12 mils.

* Wrap with moderate tension ( 10 to 100% elongation). Apply last lap with zero stretch. Press down to avoid endlifting before fusion take place.

Tape 77 is designed to protect all types of electrical cables where exposed to potential failures of other high voltage cables or exposed to other high energy cables. This 30 mil fire-retardant tape is designed to protect cable until limiting devices can interrupt faulted current. This insulating shield protects the cables and accessories from fault arc generated heat and flames. All adjacent wrapped cables and accessories are protected when exposed to fault arcs until limiting devices can interrupt the faulted circuit.  * RoHS Directive does not apply

• To arc proof high-energy power cables where exposed to failures of other high-energy cables. (Any cables within 18 inches are considered to be exposed). • To arc proof control cable when high energy power cables are present. • Provide additional electrical insulation, thus reducing possibilities of transferred arcs.

應用:  易發生故障的電纜(距離右18英寸以內)及其他纜  /  控制電纜  /位於有火災陷患處的附加絕緣,減少傳送電弧的可能。管道系統(如:輸水、氣、油管道)應用不須要無鉛RoHS.

繞包方式:  半重疊繞包使其貼和緊密,無褶皺:當新一卷77#膠帶時,須從先前一卷的150mm處,開始繞包。防火帶不含膠粘劑,在用 69玻璃纖維帶固定後才算完成。最有效,最經濟的方法是將起頭和收尾處打結。

Mastic compounds are to be overwrapped with vinyl tapes to initiate flow and watertight seal. Do not apply excessive amount of mastic to prevent oozing.

膠泥化合物膠帶纏繞好時 應該用PVC膠帶再包裹 使其具有撥水流動性和防水密封性。不要用過量的膠泥以防止滲漏。
